I’m grateful to announce the release of my latest book, Dabney.
This story is near and dear to my heart because it was inspired by true events from my hometown of Henderson, North Carolina. The characters and conversations are fictionalized, but the heart of Faye Harper’s story connects to something my own family experienced. A few years ago, my mother was diagnosed with a malignant tumor. Over several weeks, our family and community came together to pray for her and support one another.
That experience stayed with me. In Dabney, Faye and her family face a frightening medical discovery, and the people around them gather in prayer and compassion. I won’t reveal where their story leads, but I hope readers will feel the power of community and the hope that can grow when people stand together through uncertainty.
My fantasy stories have always carried deeper Christian meanings, but Dabney is my first contemporary Christian novel. I’m excited to be entering a new genre and sharing a story rooted in faith, family, and the place I call home.
Dabney is now available on Amazon in paperback and ebook formats. Thank you for reading and for supporting my work.
